1. General

AmiGO Rent Pty Ltd provides vehicle rental services primarily in Wollongong and surrounding areas, with delivery options available in Wollongong and Sydney. These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of this website and to all enquiries and bookings made through it.

2. Eligibility to Rent

To rent a vehicle with AmiGO Rent, drivers must:

• Be at least 25 years old
• Hold a valid driver’s licence
• Provide an Australian licence or a valid overseas licence with an English translation or International Driving Permit

Additional drivers must be approved in advance.

3. Bookings & Availability

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by AmiGO Rent. Prices shown on the website are indicative and may vary depending on vehicle, rental length and availability. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a booking until confirmed.

4. Payments

Rentals are charged on a weekly basis. Long-term rentals are paid week by week. No large upfront payments are required beyond the first rental payment and bond. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card and bank transfer.

5. Long-Term Rentals

Long-term rentals are defined as rentals of 5 weeks or more. Longer rental periods receive lower weekly rates. Rental agreements continue on an ongoing basis and can be ended with notice, as outlined in the rental contract.

6. Bond

A refundable bond is required before vehicle collection. The standard bond amount is $500 unless otherwise stated. The bond is refunded after the vehicle is returned, inspected, and all outstanding charges are settled.

7. Insurance & Excess

All vehicles include full comprehensive insurance. An insurance excess applies in case of an accident or damage. The excess amount and conditions are outlined in the rental agreement signed by the renter.

8. Mileage

No mileage limit applies for standard use of the vehicle. Vehicles must be used responsibly and in accordance with Australian road laws.

9. Vehicle Use

Vehicles must:

• Be driven responsibly
• Not be used for illegal purposes
• Not be driven by unauthorised drivers
• Not be used off-road or in prohibited areas

Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the vehicle. Unauthorised modifications or misuse of the vehicle are not allowed.

10. Delivery & Return

Vehicle delivery may be available in Wollongong and Sydney by prior arrangement and may incur an additional fee. Vehicles must be returned:

• On the agreed date and time
• With a full tank of fuel
• In a clean and reasonable condition, fair wear and tear excepted

Cleaning, refuelling or late return fees may apply.

11. Fines, Tolls & Fees

The renter is responsible for all:

• Traffic and parking fines
• Toll charges
• Administrative fees related to fines or tolls

Vehicles do not include a toll tag. Renters must arrange their own toll account and remove the vehicle from their account at the end of the rental.

12. Termination

Either party may end a rental by providing notice in accordance with the rental agreement. AmiGO Rent reserves the right to terminate a rental in the event of misuse, non-payment, or breach of terms.

13. Website Information

Information on this website is provided for general guidance only. Final rental terms are governed by the rental agreement signed at vehicle handover. AmiGO Rent may update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
